Valon Basha

Valon Basha is an accomplished lawyer with over two decades of legal expertise spanning arbitration, commercial law, banking and finance, M&A, and environmental and energy law. As the Managing Partner at Basha & Kraja, Valon has successfully led high-profile legal projects in the construction, infrastructure, and renewable energy sectors. His arbitration experience includes securing favorable outcomes in complex disputes involving state-owned entities.

Throughout his career, Valon has played a pivotal role in completing one of Kosovo's first solar parks, significantly contributing to the country’s energy landscape. Previously, as the Legal Department Director at a leading corporation in Kosovo, he developed corporate governance frameworks and managed complex compliance and risk management strategies.

Valon is actively involved in various professional organizations. He is a member of the Kosovo BAR Association, serves on the Steering Council of the Arbitration Center within the American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo, is a licensed Intellectual Property representative, and has held board roles at the American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo and the renowned regional brewery, Birra Peja.
